I loved this article-esp. after having made my own New Years resolution to answer every cell phone call with a smile in 2009. I think the state of our economy has woke a lot of (us) up to just exactly what IS important in life and how grateful we should be for what we have. Life has always been about living it in the now, but affluency can tend to get one easily spoiled and forgetful. I have the best friends in the world and one of them sent me this. So thank you Rebekkah, and I'd like to share that I've read thee best book lately too: The Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle. You may have heard of it already-also given to me by a dearest friend. Peace ya'll!

yeah, so true. There is always a positive spin on the same news that is so outwardly depressing.

for eg: job losses.

a chance for people to move into more thriving industries. ones that are looking for skilled labor.

a lost job can be a found happiness
